Committees
There are many committees in Moreshet which serve many functions.
All of the members serve on a volunteer basis.
Some of these committees are listed below:
- Acceptance Committee. This committee encourages new membership. To join Moreshet, a family must undergo the Klita process.
- Youth Activities Committee. General activities for youth. Last year "fun" days were sponsored, as well as science afternoons.
- Teenager Activities Committee. Activities for teens, our
fastest-growing segment of children.
- Youth - Religious Activities Committee. Various Shiurim for children and special holiday activities.
- Adult Activities Committee. Hosts guest lecturers, an annual trip, and other events.
- Adult - Religious Activities Committee. Manages many shiurim, a Tu-Bishvat celebration, and other religious-oriented events.
- Kehillah Committee. This committee concerns itself with the daily wellbeing of members. If a member is in the hospital, for example, it organizes meals for the family, etc.
- Synagogue Building Committee. Searching for funds and deciding upon the many facets of the building we plan on building is the responsibility of this committee.
- Synagogue Architecture Committee. The people of this committee are
searching for an architect to provide the internal architecture of the
building. It also sets standards for how the synagogue will look, once
complete.
- Education Committee. The Education Committee is responsible for pre-school education, including overseeing management of the Maonot and Ganim. It also runs summer programs for pre-schoolers.
- School Committee. The school committee manages the overall approach of the
school. It helps the principal with any activity that requires parental
support.
- Building Committee. The Building Committee is responsible for all building in the Yeshuv, including insuring standards are adhered to.
- Mazkirut. The Mazkirut is the internal governing body of Moreshet.
- Vaadat Hasaot. This committee is responsible to insure our children get back and forth to and from
school - for those children attending middle school in nearby communities.
- Moreshet 2010. A future-oriented view of Moreshet, including all facets of life in Moreshet.
This committee submitted its report.
- Garden Committee. Determining the physical look of the Yeshuv.
It helps determine where trees are planted and insures that we keep the place
beautiful.
In addition we have one professional who manages a variety of activities for
children, through the Matnas, including:
- Multiple Summer Camps.
- Special afternoon programs for kindergarten-aged children.
- Other special activities.

The Yeshuv would not function were it not for the volunteers.
